- Understanding – We are aware of differences in people, we respect the differences and we celebrate diversity.
Whole School Support
Training teachers alone is not enough in strengthening education system. Based on researches and interviews with teachers, teachers not being supported by principals, policy makers, peer teachers, parents and community members was the main reason of failures in implementation of learning from teacher trainings. We have designed a “whole school support program” to provide 360 degree support to all stakeholders involved.
Teacher Training
In Myanmar, one of the reasons of teachers’ high stress level and low satisfaction level is because they can’t keep up with all the changes happening. We’ve developed programs based on Myanmar and global teacher competency standards, to support teachers, increase their competencies and create positive impacts in the classrooms. One of our most popular and mostly-requested trainings is “Buddhist Approach to Teaching”.

Santisaya Library
Santisaya meaning “Shade of Peace” was where Sayarma Foundation was born. All the new ideas were based on experiments and programs done in that library. We look forward giving a peaceful shade to those who work with us, where they can learn, explore and grow peacefully without worries of people judging them.
